Ben Katz Syndrome.

I'm having an unproductive week. I've sent out a few resumes, watched some movies, read some books, but overall I just don't feel motivated. Not motivated to do laundry, go grocery shopping, clean the bathrooms. Sigh...what is wrong with me?

Andrew informed me last night that I have Ben Katz Syndrome, based on a character from one of my favorite tv shows, "Dr Katz: Professional Therapist." Ben is Dr. Katz's son, he lives at home, is unemployed and spending most of his day watching crap tv, making messes in the apartment and eating cereal straight out of a box.

We were talking about one of the episodes where Dr. Katz is urging Ben to do something with himself and Ben responds that "There are enough Doers in this world. I'm a Thinker. I live the contemplative life."

Maybe that's my whole problem, I'm living the contemplative life. At least this week.
