Yawn.

Today I am operating on four hours of sleep, half a pack of spearmint chewing gum, one grande Coffee Light Frappaccino, one carton of orange juice, one Burger King sausage biscuit and a whole lot of nervous energy. This morning we had to make revisions to our proposal, print it out on the world's slowest printer and drive 40 miles like bats out of hell (or similar) to drop it off by the 10:30 AM deadline. The whole drive to the drop-off site I heard banjo-picking chase music in my head.

But whatever. It's done, I've finished my first proposal at my new job and lived to tell about it. I learned a lot and will be able to better anticipate problems next time. Today though, I have to sit at work for four and a half more hours and pretend to be a functioning human being.
